Female, Cartoon, ANIME de nani?

Which fits best for a render of a female character with toon shading?

1. Category: Digital Art > 3-Dimensional Art > Characters > Female
or
2. Category: Digital Art > 3-Dimensional Art > Characters > Cartoon

OR

42. Category: Digital Art > 3-Dimensional Art > Characters > ANIME!


Actually, a few people on forums have been telling me that there is no such thing as 3D Anime, because Anime is hand-drawn 2D stuff or something wierd like that. O.o
Guess I'm trying to achieve something that is impossible, or infinately improbable...
So to set me straight, Cartoons can be 3D, but not Anime since it's restricted to 2D O.o You learn something new every day...

Since it's toon shading, I'd go with 'cartoon'; on the other hand, your characters are very animé ... :D

Yeah, DA discriminates against 3D modellers, since every other category has both an anime and cartoon category...

there must have to be a category named "cel-shading", in it would go anything related to cartoons or anime :nod:

Anime I say. But I am new to devientart. 3d can be anime. The movie Appleseed (2005) for instance is 3d anime.
